The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has announced its 11-man list of players who have excelled over the past eight months in the English premier league.

The PFA premier league team of the year was announced this morning by the association.

The list include Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea while Chelsea's Marcos Alonso also makes an appearance.

Tottenham's Harry Kane, Liverpool's Mo Salah are on the list also while Manchester city's Sergio Aguero makes a return to the list after eight years.

And here's my reaction to the selection on the bbc website:

César Azpilicueta should replace Nicolas Otamendi on that list. Otamendi is not a good defender, it doesn't matter how many passes he had completed. And players like Dembele, Wilfried Zaha, and Wilfred Ndidi (or Ngolo Kante) deserve to make the list as well. It seems that there's no place allocated to a CDM; otherwise either one of: Kante, Ndidi, or Dembele would get in.
