Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Mercy Aigbe has showed gratitude to God for keeping her after her marriage with her husband Lanre Gentry had crashed.

Mercy had abandoned the marriage with claims that her husband was always making her a victim of domestic violence has she was turned into a punching bag.

Mercy Aigbe shared a photo of herself with heavy bruises on her face which can only be obtained from battering by another individual.

In her post she said; “A year thank you Jehovah for grace, for the spirit of forgiveness, for total healing and for strength. You are worthy to be praised”.

During the fume and fight between this two couple that actually lead to the marriage break up Mercy Aigbe had issued that she cannot take it anymore after enduring severally.

According to her, Gentry had always beaten her on many occasions and this time she was giving up. That particular incident saw Gentry spend 7 days in the police cell which he denied the allegations of beating her.
