Lets not castigate Buhari for his unjust generalisation. Those politicians are really suffering. Audu Ogbe said he still feed and cloth his grown-up children. Buhari's children is not an exception. Those politicians children are just a little different from broilers. They are big for nothing while broilers' are good for the dishes. 3 Likes |

muykem:I sincerely wrote Waec on my own without even thinking of backing it up with Neco or Gce. ”Genuine search for development and sustainable peace must therefore begin with youth empowerment and entrepreneurship” - Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan (speaking at University of Oxford on October 24, 2016) Genuine search to empower the youth is highly commendable and not gallivanting the whole continents searching for negative comments to disseminate. Leadership is not all about words but action 2 Likes |

lol, Mr President doesn't know the number of university graduates selling tomatoes and onions due to lack of better opportunities . Saying the Nigerian youth doesn't want to go to school is not true, over 1.5 million students just wrote JAMB and many wont be given admission because the universities can't take as much not that they didn't score above 200. What about corp members that just did their POP, many without hope of securing a 100k Job for God knows how long. The fact is that many of the Nigerian youths are beginning to question education because their elder brother who graduated 5 years ago with a 2.1 earns N30k as a teacher from the N-Power scheme while musicians and big brother representatives who didn't necessarily go to higher institutions as much are awarded with terrible millions. The actual failures here are our leaders and i don't know when they will start seeing it that way. How many companies did we build over the last 5 years to take in our fresh graduates? what are the plans on ground for the youths of this country that can actually propel them to greater heights. When are we going to have constant power supply to our us some ease as we the youths go online to work for ourselves. Do we even have security ? i am so shocked that this is how the number one citizen of my country defines us to the whole world. You have a good business idea you can't access funds from government which is opposite to what is seen in the western world. Did he notice the over 160,000 business proposals that were recently submitted to Tony Elumelu for funding from the African youths, Nigerians being a majority. I am disappointed at the least from Mr President on this matter. #wearenotlazy 2 Likes |

The irony when our immediate past president with PhD didn't call youths lazy and uneducated but the president without even ssce who has lived off Nigeria all his years calls Nigerian youths lazy and uneducated. 12 Likes 1 Share |

muykem: Listen, there's no body of people that would be put through what our youth have been put through and not have issues! Given the circumstances, i'd even argue the Nigerian youth has tried, holding their heads above the water the way they have. Their major problem has been the so called adults/leaders we've had since independence, of which Buhari is among and a major participant. 1 Like |

Our politicians are actually the lazy ones. They 're the freeloaders and our president is one of them. They do nothing other than to protect oil installations and always look forward to sharing oil revenue and tax without actually thinking how the population can be made to be more productive. Very soon our president will start blaming yet to be born babies for our woes. It's rather unfortunate that we still have another 5yrs to endure this lack of direction. |
