pazienza:You are right bro. Add to the list, Owerre-Nkworji (Nkwerre, Imo state), Owerre-Aba (Abia state), and Ihitte-Owerri (Orlu, Imo state). Other wide-spread names are Aboh, Ihitte/Ifitte, and Uburu/Ubulu. Idemili exists only in Anambra and Imo. |

ckenneths:Oga Spyder. After seeing these pictures of Agbor,i also join you to believe it is the most best kept secret in Igboland! A trip through the express showed just few squalid houses with brown old roofs and we thought that was all Agbor could offer. Now,we behold a big, modern, developed city bustling at the seams! I am super impressed. If not for the blue street lights which was Delta State's giveaways,i will bet that was Awka. Please feed us more.I heard the entire Amorji,Iji and Edem Nike have turned to cities overnight with massive real estates? Please bless us with pictures when next you sneak to Ibagwa to eat bush meat! #i am aware..lol |

Often times the Igbo story comes across like that of a man who wants to have his cake whole and still eat it. MBA MBA not possible. If you want to continue to eat from the national cake, work against the derivation agenda one thing that comes across is that you admit to not having the internal economic might to function independently but then want to be independent. A man that is self sufficient in himself does not usually go begging and clamouring from another farm. If one keeps acting like a visitor in the contraption called 9ja chances are people around you keep seeing you as a temporary uninvested being and might not take you seriously on issues concerning the future of Nigeria. Una need to make up Una mind and speak with one voice or one major voice when it comes to the future of the Igbo people. Either be a stakeholder and be fully invested or have a referendum to show who are the noise makers. |

ckenneths:Well noted. The true origin can be found using the various community names. |
| Re: . by pazienza(m): 3:56pm On Oct 02, 2018 |
B2mario:Another one is Uhu/Uru/Ulu. It actually means home. It's the old Igbo word for Ulo/Uno. All over Igbo towns, you see villages named Uhu/Uru, Uhuagu/Uruagu, Uhuorji/Uruorji, etc. Uruagu /Uhuagu would translate to home founded in a thick Forrest, Uhuorji/Uruorji is home founded beside an Orji tree. |

mightguy:I don't know why most binis i know are the ones telling me the history of Onicha and Umuchima, my Igbo towns. These people are the real land grabbers. |

aniomafirstson:You see, similarities in community names. Community name and language should be the basis for tracing people's origin rather than all these concorted stories. |
| Re: . by pazienza(m): 4:13pm On Oct 02, 2018 |
B2mario:What you are doing, is akin to the wife who caught her husband with another woman, and decided to beat the woman, while absolving her Man of all blames. Not minding the fact that it was the husband who wooed the lady in the first place If Onitsha and other Umuezechima towns don't go about shouting about how they migrated from and are Ancestrally Bini people, and their kings sniffing around the ass of Oba of Bini. The Bini people wouldn't be twisting the story of those towns. They are willing accomplices to the Binis. The Bini are only reaching out to them, because they were the ones who started flirting with Binis. You would be biased if you are going to start blaming Binis for this. Ask yourself, why is Bini not claiming or twisting the stories of Ogidi or Obosi? It's simple, we are not flirting with them by druming about ancestral Bini origin everyday. It takes two to tangle. This is why I don't hold back when discussing about them(Anioma), neither do I let emotions becloud my judgement, whenever I'm dealing with issues concerning Anioma or Ikwerre/Ekpeye/Ogba. I say it as it is. |
