The Ebonyi state chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC is gradually pushing the non indigenes resident in the state out of the party by denying them party positions from Ward level to the State, information gathered by our grassroot correspondent shows that since the inception of the said party in 2013/2014 non of the members of the party who happened to come from another state were allowed to occupy any party position, instead people from other local government areas of the state who are residing in the state capital Abakaliki will claim to be Urbanites/non indigenes and get the positions this is particular in Uburu people because of their closeness to the National leader of the party Chief Ogbonnaya Onu. Our correspondent also gathered that a memo will be sent to the leaders and promoters of the party both in the state (Ebonyi) and the National secretariat of the party to inform them of the dangers involve. Abakaliki urban dwellers comprises both indigenes and non indigenes alike which from our findings the people from other states are more in number.
