I am a soldier
And human at that,
Just like any human
At a little age of seventeen
I made my choice
Of living and working in KAKI
While you are a school baby
Running around a camp school
I was in a soldier-making
With tedious,
Uncomplain training.
4am is our 8am
Live as extended family
And my comrade my brethren

Yes! I am a soldier
Your exam is your test
While war is mine
And my gun as a pen
Yet as a friend,
In war of cross-country
And bullet my ink
Writing on an enemy's life

When you fail, you repeat
But when I fail, I d-i-e
With a soldier burial
Or a war slave
In a land of no-relative

You graduate. Luckily
I become a lieutenant.
You AC yourself in office
But I enjoyed breeze with my group
In the Bush, at any time death.

Now am at a point death
Where war is hot as sun
Suddenly I will fell, like soldiers do
And gave up the ghost

A message I like to send
If you cross path with my mother
Tell her am a Soldier
Defender of a weakling schooler
Yes i am a SOLDIER.
