Mohamed Salah broke yet another record for Liverpool after his stunning brace Against Roma.

Liverpool have all-but certainly secured their place in next month's Champions League final after an emphatic 5-2 win over the Italian outfit.

Salah netted twice in the first half to send Jurgen Klopp's side on their way.

The first was a curling effort from the edge of the area which left Roma goalkeeper Alisson helpless.

And the second was a sumptuous chip over the Brazilian after he went to ground early.

The brace now means Salah has broken another record this season.

The forward is the first Liverpool player to hit ten Champions League goals in one season.


Roberto Firmino, who also scored twice, has now also reached that total after his two second half goals.


Salah, who was crowned the PFA Players' Player of the Year on Sunday,now has 43 goals in all competitions in his first season on Merseyside.

Four more will see him equal the club record for the most strikes in a season, set by Ian Rush in 1983-84.

Liverpool travel to Rome next week for the return leg.

And barring a major slip up, the Reds will face either Real Madrid or BayernMunich in next month's final.
