Even the most ardent supporter of Buhari would have to admit that this Fulani issue has not gotten the kind of solution as it deserves. No one can say the government is not aware of the killings. Virtually no day passes without one killing or the other.

If the government feel they are sponsored then arrest the suspected sponsors. Just do something to stop the killing. There is too much blood in the land.

I think the president should as a matter of urgency remove the inspector general of police and appoint a new man with a mandate to end the killings, sack that one if he also fails.

The minister of defence should also go.

Even Burutai has to also go, he is a fine office but perhaps it is time to test new blood. At least when a new person enters he is going to want to impress.

When people are held accountable for their positions, everyone seems to seat up.
