@OP, WHY not get your source right before posting it online to avoid misleading people. One of the vessels caught fire as a result of welding activity and spread to other boats and ship. Navy has nothing to do with it. The fire started in the morning and still burning till now though almost quenched. Fire fighters have been there to put off the fire. 2 Likes |

Despite the black soot that has 85 percent polluted Port Harcourt atmosphere these guys still went ahead to commit more havoc on the Port Harcourt ecological system. It's a pity that Ministry or the Commissional of Environment don't know their work. # safeportharcourtfromblacksoot. |

Video and pictures of the fire incident. Navy has no hand in it, they won't be too stupid to burn bunkery vessels and other private vessels own by a company in a public place. 2 Likes

This city ran from it's igbo identity in order to steal the houses of other Igbos and speed up our killing during the war. Today many boast being from a 25 man bini tribe called ikwerre. When there's an infrustructure deficit anywhere in the southeast the rest of the southeast stands up. When herdsmen attack in ebonyi, anambrans shout. When hausas attack in Onitsha, they're hunted in Abia. Now that pH had been made weak, irrelevant, and voiceless in the name of cowardice and greed who is left to care about your soot? The oba of bini? One by one everyone is getting what's due unless they repent. Enjoy your houses |

Stupid Navy, instead of pulling the boat out to sea before blowing it up, now they will poison the inhabitants of PH with their black soot. |

Ofodirinwa: Honestly, your post has nothing to do with the topic. You probably think Igbos won't suffer from the impending catastrophe about to happen in people's lives. @Post, Yet another reason to invest in pharmaceutical companies. a deliberate ploy to poison the inhabitantsof the land, maybe they forsee that they will have to leave the oil for them, so they want to ensure residents die with it, this soot has been on since morning, it looks like rain clouds, but it poison soot. it poisioning the air, land and ground water, a disguised form of chernobyl. |

Here's what i think happens when this fumes ascend... Acid rain due to coal in the atmosphere messes up everything on the surface. Depletes soil nutrients too. When it falls on d leaves of plants it blocks d stomata where gaseous exchange occur for us to get better Oxygen. Even the fishes and other sea foods we consume are messed up now because there will be traces of carbon in their system. This issue is gonna bring a chain of reactions. I live in PH and I'm fuckn breathless. #stopthesoot |

That's not the true story. Nigerian Navy isn't responsible for the outbreak. Sparks from welding activities of those constructing new badges around there ignited the product. My house is a stone throw from the scene. |
