The President with PHD that cant use is own initiative. The man that makes PHD look stupid taking advise from Babangida can you imagine.
Government is not a one man's show or one tribe's show like Buhari is doing now.
In every Govt you seek advice from all stake holders

If not mediocrity, is it all advice that should be taken, why didn't he in all wisdom available to him discuss with his advisers before rushing to make such announcements?? All I can see is just another excuse you could have just said '' it was the devil that deceived me''. Rubish

Thank you NOI!

I said it and will continue to maintain that the announcement of subsidy removal was ill-thought, done in bad faith and ill-timed.

How could he had removed the subsidy overnight without a palliative in place and without addressing the subsidy fraud and culprits involved? Silly move

Meanwhile, Chief servant Babangida Aliyu has been sabotaging Jonathan since 1880.
and you still campaign and voted for PhD in failure.

And the lazy idiotic pigs of Biafra are calling a man full of wisdom dullardiho

She was one of those who advised on the subsidy removal not only privately but in public That much I remember very clearly. She had not been in office up to 6 months and somehow miraculously she failed to detect the explosion from a few hundred million to trillions overnight. In the aftermath rather than detecting the fraud she came out to support the subsidy .

Now she is singing Edikwanza biobio

She must think we are stupid like Shinedu

Leave Babangida Aliyu out of this. The biggest mistake GEJ made was to make the subsidy removal announcement on New year day.

Very callous of him.

Buhari, the adult and soldier is being deceived by his IG who refused to go to Benue after being ordered to do so
Maybe Buhari did not even order the policeman and he was just telling us lies as usual

It appears there was a concerted effort to make sure GEJ failed.

bravely acknowledged that it was the governors who had urged the president not to delay any longer but to announce the subsidy phase-out at the beginning of the year.
none of the governors came to the rescue when the policy roiled the nation

His timing was so wrong and reason everyone stood against him. He crippled many activities then and till date many are still suffering from his wrong timing. He knew majority of people are back to their various home town for Christmas and New year celebration and yet he make such announcement without consideration.

When we said it then, people thought we were trying to be politically correct. They took a devilish decision and then come out to blame the opposition on the demonstration that followed the wicked act; saying the APC were sponsoring mayhem.

People be shooting themselves in the foot and blaming their opponents.

Either way. subsidy removal from an economic standpoint MAKES sense.

The problem is Nigerians cannot see that.

Sure prices will go up. But more investment would pour in, more jobs would be created and eventually prices would fall via competition.

And the reason why more investment would pour in is because marketers can now set their prices, instead of government doing it for them.

Right now, we Import fuel at 180 per liter, and sell it at 145 per liter..NNPC pays an illegal subsidy to make the difference, or else there would be crisis. And paying the illegal subsidy is not even sustainable long term.

We liberalized GSM. Nigerians complained, we paid 10000 for SIM, and high amounts for service that was awful back then. But GSM companies made billions which they plowed back into Nigeria, and which attracted investors, local and foreign. By 2006, prices had crashed.

Subsidy has to go.GEJ made many mistakes. Removing subsidy was not one of them.

Nawoo, the same people that protested that time have gone underground today, what a life.

Buhari hike the fuel price and everyone of them kept quiet.

Buhari is not Jonathan. Buhari also crashed the Naira value and no protest and now the value is creeping up . The power of a good name and integrity is enormous. Always aim for a reputation of integrity.
