When you apply for a job, you really have no way of knowing where would be the best fit for you.

Since you have not worked before, you have no idea where you would fit in. That's why most graduates apply for just about any vacancy to get try their hands but we recruiters are quick to dismiss your cv and tag you unserious. You can't blame the recruiters though because they have to deliver the best fit for a particular position.

The best candidates are passive job seekers not the active ones. the passive job seekers are those who already have a job but are open to new or better opportuinities.

Time and over again, these set of people always turn out to be the best fit because of their experience. You cant compare them with the active job seekers. People prefer ready made rather than having to train. Training staff is expensive.


So what do we do?

Go get experience through internships or volunteer.
