Breaking: 15 Feared Dead, Houses Razed Down As Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Overrun 3 Adamawa Villages
Three communities in Numan local government area of Adamawa state, have been overran by suspected Fulani militiamen. Fleeing residents told the Nigerian Pilot that Bolki, Bang and Gon have been overran by suspected Fulani militiamen who razed down many buildings in the affected villages.
They alleged that the attackers stormed the area shortly after troops of the Nigerian Army ransacked the villages to enforce the disarmament of citizens in line with a presidential directive.
Chairman of Numan local government area Hon Arnold Jibla confirmed the attack. He however declined to provide fatality figures as according to him, the attack was still raging at the time of this report.
However, locals said that no fewer than 15 persons have been killed in the Wednesday evening raid, just as they said property worth millions of naira have been destroyed.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Othman Abubakar could not confirm outright, saying he was yet to be briefed but promised to get back.
Numan local government has experienced several herdsmen/farmers clashes in the past six months.

People have for long alleged that the military apparatus have been compromised and are used in the current ethnic extermination and genocide going on. This just confirmed the claims.

How can the military and this administration stoop so low as to give Fulani herdsmen and militias support by disarming locals/villagers of the little weapons they have to defend themselves only for the militias to follow up quickly with mass destruction and murder. There is a clear case of connivance between the two.

The above have happened several times in Benue and Taraba. There are cases where the military instead of attacking and arresting the herdsmen, rather detonated bombs against the communities.

The president, being a grand patron of miyetti is believe that Fulani militias are not responsible for these nefarious acts. This is onesidedness, bias, betrayal of the citizenry whose lives and properties he swore to protect.

Nigeria is indeed in trouble and disaster bigger than our imagination is in the offing.

The middle belters should stand up and speak for their self determination or else they will be wiped out.

Over 15people were feared dead as armed herdsmen numbering over 400 reportedly attacked and burnt down four villages of Bolki, Bang, Zumoso and Gon in Numan and Lamurde local government areas of Adamawa State, local sources told Daily Sun.
According to locals, the herdsmen militia were reported to have arrived the communities, on Wednesday night, on motocycles and hilux trucks, killing and burning down villages.
A source said the herdsmen could not be stopped by the only two hilux trucks of military who retreated on sighting the herdsmen.
The source said two Air force Fighter jets flew over the town before the attack but refused to engage the herdsmen.
