The lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district in the Senate, Dino Melaye, has been denied bail by a magistrate's court 2 in Lokoja, Kogi state, in the case of an alleged criminal conspiracy, causing damage to government property, attempted suic*de and escape from lawful custody.
The prosecution counsel, Alex Isihon, stated that the court did not have the jurisdiction to entertain the case, Channels reports.
