1)lower camera quality
2)lesser battery life
3)lesser build quality
4)Stock android vs HiOS customized
5)Unavailability or difficulty of acquiring spare parts
and a host of others

Depending on your budget cos their price difference is #10k. ie. 24k for m9 and 34k for k7 1gb ram version. On my review on both. k7 wins in almost all aspects eg great battery performance and camera(best budget camera), design, durability,Better stock ui. But multitasking performance is greater on the k7 2/16gb version which is more expensive than the 1/16gb version...
Overall k7 wins

lol @tecno marketer. I have never used a Tecno in d past 4 or so yrs.
as for Kiica power, the phone UI crashes at will, atimes, while my phone is ringing, it will tell me UI crashed. I won't be able to pick my call. sometimes, for about 15-20 minutes the phone will freeze.
the battery is rated 4000mah. dats but in actual sense, am not sure it is upto 2500. I won't complain about the temperature though. the camera is wack especially indoors. It's a wrong choice I made

u see sir...so wen u arrange wella,u upgrade..there are other devices of better specs at a low range as well but I no trust tecno k7 oooo..na ur choice sha

instead of u to buy K7 add small cash buy Hot5 rest.. (not a user) but it's an all round good device 1GB Ram for K7 too poor you go suffer for lags tire.
