"Carrying out a scientific Research in Nigeria is a disaster" was the lamentation of my friend who travel abroad for his PHD lab work. A friend of mine "a microbiologist" who travel to Germany for his lab work said he has come to conclusion that we are just waisting time doing scientific research. Because over 400 isolates he prepared in Nigeria to travelled with all died before getting over there all due to our epileptic light suituation. On getting there he was supprise to see isolates that have been preserved and used for research for over 100 years. What do you think? Do we have research continuity? Do we have scientist in Nigeria? Who do we blame? |
