I was listening in to Matse on Wazobia FM in the evening of yesterday. The topic was "what on earth will make a man rape a woman"? Some say that women cause it by their modern dressing, others blame the usual one- the devil, while one say it's fun. A man even called in to say that the topic was biased as it is known that some women also rape men!! We all know that it is wrong to rape- man vs man, man vs woman, woman vs man or womam vs woman (just name the combination). Do I add man vs animal? Someone was reported as having raped a chicken in one of Chinua Achebe's novels. What do N'landers say could be the reason? |
