Portuguese professional footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly engaged his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, with a Cartier diamond ring worth £615,000.

The shopkeeper-turned-model fuelled gossips that the pair are engaged after she showed off a sparkling ring in an Instagram video.


The ring is the biggest hint that the pair, who have kept tight-lipped over a future wedding, are set to get hooked.

The Real Madrid forward appears to have spared no expense, with estimates suggesting he coughed out a whopping £615,000 on the Cartier ring.

Cartier had advertised an engagement ring and recently uploaded a picture of it on Instagram.

Rodriguez, who has 4.6million followers on the social media site, commented with a string of heart emojis.


The new ring comes just months after she gave birth to the couple’s first child Alana Martina.

Rodriguez showed off the new rock right inside the ex-Manchester United ace’s luxury motor.
