the question is did he say God showed him?
Of course, he didn't say that was what God told him, but rather expressing his personal view about the situation.

Those were exactly his words. I watched the programme live.
Mofe72:

I watched it, that’s exactly what he said.

PS: I think he meant, given the security conditions in the country, most people would be discouraged to vote

I watched it live too. Here's a link to the video. Adeboye never claimed God showed him anything.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0RdZuGay8E

Start from 3:49:00

Here is how the conversation went. Now show me where he claimed God showed him.

The man said daddy has God told you who will win the election next year?

He replied: son, I'm not even sure yet there will be an election because unless these killings stop they may be no election next year.

The man then responded saying : Are you prophesying daddy.

Adeboye replied: Nonononono I'm not prophesying. I'm just reasoning because nobody will go out to vote if they're not sure they'll be able to return home safe.

Exactly! I remember how vocal he was when the military was using brute force against bokoharam in the last administration suggesting that a war had been declared on the north but now he's lost his voice which shows he's privy to this killings.

But your analysis doesn't add up

I watched the programme live. He actually said those words as they were put here. But he didn't say it as if that's what God told him. He also went further to clarify that it's wasn't a prophecy either.
brother he said he was discussing with a Bishop, how did the op come about God telling him stuffs?

It does. Then christians were the major targets so his voice was in support of bokoharam but now he is not taking any action on herdsmen killings.

Am not surprised at his response. He's always been economical with the truth. His bias for Osinbajo's APC wouldn't let him say the truth.

On another thought, could he have said this is that presidential aspirants can start patronising him and his Holy Ghost service, as they always do?

Hypocrite Man of evils where were u when Boko haram killed people and thread them not come out for election during ebele Jonathan but u can't warn him about electorate boycott due to insecurity. The pastor ask u to say who will win the election but u fail to predict ur frequently guessing lie.

Baba is making theory & hypothesis.

CHAIN-GE you want, CHAIN-GE you have.

Sai Barber!

I have maximum respect for Daddy G.O but his deadly silence in the face of bloodletting across Nigeria is painful.

Will Prophet Elijah keep quiet if alive today? NO!

Btw: Baba is complicit in the enthronement of this terrorist government.

God is watching and waiting...

What do u expect him to do other than pray for the nation?...

Advice or mobilise Nigerians/Christians to pick up arms and fight?.

I am waiting for anyone to show one statement that Daddy Adeboye made that suggested he campaigned for Osinbajo. I never heard such campaign.

The day he prayed for Osinbajo he also prayed for other contestants irrespective of their parties. People just assume that he campaigned for Osinbajo because Osinbajo is a pastor of RCCG.

Anyway, the GO is a public figure and his statements are out there - I am just waiting for someone to show me one instance where he campaigned for Osinbajo or for Buhari.

If there is any photo I have seen it is actually that of the man praying for GEJ!

As an authority himself, he should speak out and condemn the killings in strong terms.
