That's a chimp, and not a gorilla. I can bet my g-shock watch that this is not a wild chimp. I am sure it escaped from Pandrillus enclosure - a few miles away. Hunger don touch the guy, he's begging to return to his enclosure.

As shared by a Nigerian man on Facebook identified as Osang Gabriel;
"wonders shall not end. A gorilla followed a farmer from the bush to his house at bitiah irruan boki cross River State to his living house live"

Culled from; https://www.torimill.com/2018/05/chimpanzee-follows-farmer-home-in-cross-river-state-photos.html

The Chimpanzee is probably old, sick n rejected by his or her clan.

He followed the Man home to save himself.

Let him also note that an adult chimpanzee can comfortably beat up 6 Men in a few minutes or even seconds.

This is the correct answer. That elderly chimp was most likely born in captivity, and grew up completely dependent on people for food, water, and shelter. That old chimpanzee could not survive in the wild for long, if, as is likely the case here, it was accidentally released from its enclosure at the animal sanctuary that you mentioned above.

Opportunity for the man to make some quick millions...

Just upload videos of his daily escapades with the gorilla and see the Google AdSense millions trooping into his account on monthly basis.

But my uncivilized african brothers would rather kill the beast for food sharp sharp. cry cry cry

For once they are not eating bush meat. Thank God for change. The poor thing probably knows that it is better to be adopted by a human and live a sheltered life than to live free in its natural habitat and fall prey to Nigerians and their cooking pots.
