I actually like how tough blogging is these days. The entry barrier is getting higher. Even if you register a new site and install your wordpress or blogger on it, you'll have to wait for several months to start ranking for carefully selected and researched keywords, if at all (that's if you keep working hard to build quality content during the sandbox wilderness months). Of course, many lazy Nigerian youths like you would give up during this seemingly endless and unrewarding waiting period.

That's great if you ask me. Great for the few serious bloggers here who know just how lucrative this thing is if you know what you're doing and if you're patient enough. It means many profitable niches in Nigeria would remain unsaturated for a long time to come. Since we Nigerians love get rich quick schemes, blogging would never appeal to the majority. That's a good thing.

You are right but, I can't stop blogging because I didn't star blogging because of money but passion and I'm known for it. I hosted my blog free for life so no panic. I'm also ranking high, you can check www.akeentech.com I'm just lazy to post these days even though I have over 25 posts on ground to publish.
