Most of the natural resources deposited on the African continent such as diamonds, sugar, salt, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum, cocoa beans, woods and fruits are in high demand globally whether as raw materials or finished goods, why then is the continent still considered the poor continent?

This is simply because the value and money from the natural resources usually go to the West and East Asia rather than Africa for example China owns 40% of Congo’s oil production and Nigeria is the only OPEC country still importing petroleum products.

Nigeria covers about 20% of world in-shell cashew production which when shelled sells at a higher price, but the country lacks infrastructure and trained manpower which limits the profit from this lucrative venture.

This is the the case with most African nations as they have suffered from a lack of infrastructure and trained manpower.

Africa has enough resources to build a lasting economically and politically independent continent.

Train Africa Learn Africa is an International Manpower Development Exchange Program designed to empower African Youths to move the Continent forward to meet up with Advanced Global Technological demands.
