Sir Alex Ferguson Out Of Intensive Care As He Continues Brain Surgery Recovery by dabblesports(m): 11:49am On May 10, 2018
Sir Alex Ferguson is out of intensive care at Salford Royal Hospital as he continues his recovery from brain surgery.
The former Manchester United manager will continue rehabilitation as an inpatient at the hospital after he suffered a brain haemorrhage on Saturday.

Thousands of football fans across the globe heard the tragic news and all prayed for the speedy recovery of the football legend. Other managers especially in the English Premier League wished the former United gaffer a quick recovery and wished his family good wishes too.

A statement from United read: “His family has been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery.”


Earlier in the week, current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said the club were positive Ferguson would make a full recovery.
When asked if the club believe Ferguson would make a swift recovery, Mourinho said: “Yeah, we are confident.”


Ferguson was taken ill after falling at home but was given prompt medical attention. The Scott, the most successful United manager won a record of 13 Premier League titles during his tenure at Old Trafford.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also said: “I just want to say that at Arsenal we care and I wish my fellow manager Ferguson well, very quickly.”

Alex Ferguson was last seen in April when he presented Wenger with a trophy on the Old Trafford pitch to commemorate his 22-year career with Arsenal.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola offered “a big hug”, and added: “Our thoughts are with his wife Cathy and the Manchester United family”
