A little word of inspiration for you. Perhaps you had great expectations when your year started. You may have made some fool-proof plans of how you were going to take charge of your life and move on to your next level. Now we’re fast marching into the second half of the year and you are nowhere near your desired goals. In fact, maybe you have even found yourself taking two steps back from where you were at the beginning of the year. What’s worse, you may have had a couple of near misses and you had to deal with the disappointment of not having your heart’s earnest desires met.

You may be getting wedding invitations from your friends and wondering when yours will be. You may be seeing pictures of your friends who just had their babies and wondering when yours will be. You may have just received a call from your friend who just got a job with a mouth watering salary and you’re wondering when you will testify too. Perhaps you just saw an update on Facebook of your friend who just got a brand new car and you’re wondering when yours will be.

Take a deep breath, lean back in your chair, put a smile on your face and relax as I tell you this, “Today is a good day for you to decide not to give up.”

Take a trip down memory lane and call to mind all the ways God blessed you in the past, how He sent you help in your time of trouble and how he provided for you in your time of need. There are even some things you can’t figure out how they came yet you found yourself under His grace. If there seems to be a delay now just know that it is all in His plan for you. Afterall, all things work together for good for those that love the Lord.
