You are celebrating future FA Cup glory??
There was a time when Man U fans used to proudly celebrate EPL title victories and sometimes even UCL championship victories. However, 5 years since you folks last smelt an EPL title has turned you sorry chaps into Gunner-like-fans shocked grin

Na wa ohh....why are the officials at NFF choosing to ignore Nigerian born Liverpool player Solanke?

That lad has got huge abilities to be a firing number 9.... and will do very well next season!

Or are they waiting for him to paint the premier league next season with goals before they start inviting him to play for Nigeria?

Man utd is undergoing a rebuilding process, bro. Most teams undergoes these process, ac milan, liverpool etc. But it is a step by step process, starting off with fa cup, efl, europa league for two seasons is not a bad start for the process, next season man utd will be up there challengeing for the epl. How many trophies have liverpool won in the past ten seasons or ac milan? Every good team has experienced a hard time in its history, but when they are out of such time they come out stronger. You don't expect ac milan to win Serie A but they are likely to start by winning cups like copa italia, europa, same thing with liverpool when they almost won efl and europa. Rebuilding is bit by bit, and during such processes confidence is restored and winning those cups gives fan hope for better things to come. So celebrating is not after all bad.

My brother .... news flash oh, Mou is NOT a team re-builder. He is a win now type of coach/manager - we know that very well from his time in Chelsea.
Man U has spent the highest in wages this season in the football world (and in past recent years too) : https://www.globalsportssalaries.com/GSSS%202017.pdf
Y'all don become like Gunners ... make una pray for your old Man U to come back oh .... grin
Liverpool does not have the spending power of either Man U, Man C or my Chelsea. What they have achieved this season in UCL is very impressive and they should be commended. I hope they can now beat the equally big spending Real Madrid in the final.

Since u have lost touch with reality. Let me school you. Football is an age long game where no team has ever stayed at its very best everytime. What this means is that those teams we call "great teams" do not necessary need to be teams on the "high" presently, but instead they are teams who have done enough with their times on top. Form is temporal while Class is permanent. Form will always fluctuate, so at the end of the day what counts for a football team is majorly what it has been able to achieve throughout its lifetime (of obvious ups and downs). For example real madrid endured 12yrs (between 2002 and 2014) of a mediocre champions league campaign where they didn't even make it to the semis in any of those years. Guess what, it didn't stop dem from being the greatsest team to ever grace the competion. And thats cos of what they had achieved for themselves through success over time.

All they needed to do was to continue from where they stopped in 2014 when they won the la decima. The greatness that man united has earned for itself cannot be dwarfed by the fact that leicester won the league in 2016, cos they are not even relevant in d present scheme of things. United's success is not dwarfed by chelshit's epl success in 2017. Cos chelsea is too medicre in the present scheme of things as well. So what does this tell u? Its not about a team's short-term form anymore. Its about an aggregation of a team's achievements over the years..

Have u asked urself why man united still recoreds the highest revenue in the entire Britian year in year out,. It is the brand. Greatness achieved and earned is not child's play. Last season chelsea won their 6th ever epl title, and after the final game, supersport showed phill neville giving his remarks and he was captions as follows..(won 6 epl titles with man united). So phil who left united over a decade ago even before u became a chelsea fan is not any epl trophy short of chelsea. Now that is class.

Chelsea could be good occassionally and once in a while. But chelsea is yet to have its name in the register of "teams with class". I wish chelsea goodluck in the catch up game. There's so much to catch up with.. start from getting urself a noble football ground and not that 41,000 capacity school pitch, earn some money, catch up on the trophies.

Liverpool has not won ucl since 2005, that is 13yrs ago. If they happen to win it dis year, that gives dem their 6th ucl title. Guess what. Their years of irrelevance in ucl will be of no moment because they'll be benefitting from their rich history which they created for themselves. The numbers are far more important than what u think cos in they have more input in d sands of time. So chelsea. Start from creating ur history. It is ur starting point.

Michael Jackson said "everyday you create your history, every path u take you're leaving ur lagacy.." chelsea has alot to do in terms of matching the legacies created by others over time. So don't be distracted by an undue comparison with the big boys based on some fallacy. Chelsea and the big boys are not contemporaries in any way whatsoever. Good luck to chelsea in its quest to becoming the greatest club ever, which entails equalling and surpassing the achievements of those great teams. Which ofcourse is seeming impossible.

After mou left chelsea and real madrid, they both won the champions league. Mou is manager that want instant sucesss, but in the process he is building a solid foundation for the next manager. Real madrid, Barca, Psg, Man city are big spenders and they most of the time compete for the League. Winning and competing for the champions league is not about spending big, it is about consistency, character, winning metality and the manager - This is what you can find in team like rma, bayern, roma, liverpool. How many players did rma buy in the summer? But they got these characteristics. You don't expect mou to arrive at utd and at a go he wins the league, no! Winning metality must be restored, consistency, character must be built and a manager have a big role to play in all these. Mou is trying to make this work - this is rebuilding (of lost mentality, character and consistency) and in this process, trophies are to be won to build the players' confidence for greater things. It is not about spending big. Instance - napoli did not spend big but fought for the italian league. Ac milan spent big but what was the result?

Exactly - you spent big like (AC and Inter) but got nothing. Mou is not the guy for rebuilding- even you your self just said it and so I wonder why you are using the "rebuilding" argument? cheesy
Yes, I expect Mou to win instantly. He did so (twice) at Chelsea upon his arrival. He did so at Real Madrid and also at Inter. He has now taken over a modern failure of a club and is embarrassing to his legacy to seem him also now celebrate "small potato trophies" or call Sevilla a "big club" after shamefully losing to them grin grin
RMA and Bayern already outspend the rest of their teams in their respective leagues and so a year of not big spendings is not a big deal - they already have the largest payrolls in their leagues.
Your Man U are failures ... or if you want to lower your expectations to FA Cup and be "gunners like", they are great successes grin grin

I do not blame you - when history is all you have to reminisce then you have no other choice grin grin
Yes, clubs like Real Madrid have had "trophy less periods" ..... and for the fact that they spent a lot of money even in those periods makes them failures too in that period.
Just face facts - your Man U are modern day failures. Man C and Chelsea are the modern day successes cool
