THE MASSES.......... by @nbdstar by Africanbest(m): 9:05am On May 16, 2018
Good morning class

Today i want to talk about THE MASSES

We live in an era where its a competition to survive.
An era were your three square meal seem divisible by 2.
An era were we only see our leaders ones every four years.

They come, they make promises, we hail and they leave.
They say jump, we never ask how high.
They say run, we never ask how long.
They can't be challenged even in Democracy.

We get:
buildings collapsing, (@nbdstar)
Sickness on the rising. (Work from Nbstudio)
Herdsmen still killing.
And SARS still beating.
By the next four years, they would be coming and we will be hailing.

Our youths are dying as their thugs.
And we still have our teeth biting the tongue.
We suffering from hardship.
Relationship dying cos of lack of employment.
Now we are in no ship.
Our slay queens are being slayed for logo benz.
You don't need education, just be loyal.
Don't worry you will get all, like we Royals.

Election has been inconclusively concluded.
Now their voices and promises are far like his second coming.
30k minimum wage is still a problem in 2019, when some country are thinking on how to launch the 5g network.
Education na scam is trending here, when a 12-year-old kid from Tennessee created a nuclear reaction in his family's playroom.

Now am feeling we demanded for independence 10years too soon.
We can no longer compare with our brothers in South.
We still breeding potbelly rulers and hungry looking teachers.
We are stuck with educated illiterates in the helms of governance.

So what's the change in a change era of an unchanging nation?
What's the next level when the only level is moving backwards?
What's the need of education when I and my father used the same handout, been taught by the same lecturer, answered the same exam questions in a 25years interval of learning.

We are their Slave,
We are the lower Class,
We are the Future,
We are the MASSES.
