When did carbon (2) oxide become carbon monoxide.. There are several gases formed during combust of kerosene.
Besides, one of the property of carbon monoxide is dat it is odorless. Dat suffocating gas dats comes out wen u put off ur stove is ethene

I am an engineer and I supervise electricians on site.

Should I not do electrical repairs in my house if I know how to do it?

Besides, that stove thing is even more deadly AFTER it is put off. It often keeps producing a steady stream of carbon monoxide that they keep inhaling. People have done themselves irreparable harm this way.
