9yrs ago I got a UK student visa but did not study, I actually went to the UK for 2wks and returned back home, i didn't have the funds to study at the time though But within the same period I got a good job in naija and returned back home.
Now I applied for US visit visa in 2014 and was asked if I have traveled before I said yes UK, I explained that I once got a student visa and could not study and returned to take up a good job. The VO refused my US visa request.

Again I applied just this year after 3yrs ago for visit visa with my family and I was asked if I I have travelled before and I said yes SA and Ghana without mentioning UK my past travel history since it didn't help my case in 2014 when I first applied. After typing for a while the VO asked me that have I travelled elsewhere aside SA and Ghana and I said yes instead of lying since they have my previous record, that it was long time ago I went to UK, after awhile she handed me the blue form and refused my visa.

Please advice what is the way out, why am I getting refused.

U don't have to ignore the UK part, cos they already have your history on dia system. Next time u apply, be bold to tell them where u have traveled to in the past.
