Hi House,

Pls i seriously need input as regard the statement of result i got from Benue State University PGD Programme.
After completing my PGD in the aforemention school, i was given a Statement of result indicating a PASS. While i had a CPA of 3.6, i was expecting a the statement to reflect CREDIT.

At the end of the day, the Dean said that what the school issues is either a PASS or FAIL on their statement.
That is, its either a student passess the programme or fails it.

Now, i want to know if this PASS or FAIL rule is a general application in all universities and whether or not the PASS status of the statement can joepardise may chances of securing an MBA admission.

Usually in Nigeria, for PGDs and Masters degrees, you get something like a pass or fail. So your school is correct.
I guess that is a 3.6/5.0. I think if you get a 4.5/5.0, that should earn you a distinction in your PGD.
For your MBA, I'm sure they will ask you for your transcript. So no worries.
