Unidentified gunmen suspected to be Bassa militias are reported to have launched a fresh attack on Umaisha, the headquarters of Opanda chiefdom in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, burning down the entire communities.

The invaded communities include: Kolo, Kuwa, Kokoto, Kanyehu, Dausu, Ogba, Ugya, Katakpa, and Umaisha villages. The resident villagers have been displaced as a result of the attacks.

I write to counter what the OP have said . The Bassa has no militant of any form as stated by the OP. The Egbira koto has been the one with militant group ransacking the whole Bassa communities, hiring herdsmen and their tribe men in Kogi state coming to fight for them.
Egbira koto has sworn to claim Bassa land by fire by force. Taking vow that they will make sure no Bassa person shall come back to their ancestral home.
So, OP go get your info right before coming on public forum
