Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a socio-cultural umbrella of Ndigbo, has called for the adoption of a six-year rotational single tenure for the president and governors of 36 states in the country.

It also demanded creation of one additional state in the South-East geo-political zone, scrapping of local government system and resource control for states where natural resources were exploited

why are our leaders repeating theirselves all the time? I thought some of them went for the 2014 constitutional conference and till now nothing have been done. .instead of calling for the report to be implemented, they are all busy shouting restructuring. .May God help this our nation called Nigeria!

Nigeria needs to be restructured before any meaningful development can be recorded..

Single six years tenure is not a bad idea but the fact that they also suggested that Nigeria should have 6 vice presidents from each geopolitical zone is simply crazy.
