That was a message posted on the Bitcointalk forum by a programmer, Laszlo Hanyecz eight years ago (22nd May,2010). According to the Bitcoin Wiki another user, who went by “jercos” on the forum, took Hanyecz up on his offer. Hanyecz sent the bitcoin to jercos, who then placed the pizza order. The transaction had to be finalized over internet relay chat.
