Most of the proprietors see running a school as an avenue for quick money. They employ under qualified teachers with no basic training in teaching. Not even TC. 11, the minimum stipulated qualification for a teacher should be NCE, but these business men and women just go out there and employ whomever they can. Some are even school drop out! How can you employ a school drop out to be a teacher, what is he or she going to teach?
I fear for the future generation. Because the decay in the education system is very bad. And I don't see it getting better.
Like someone said, and I agree, grease the palms of the directors in the ministry and they will look the other way while this nonsense continue.
