If you are a student love them or hate them, exams are an important part so it's hard to get away from exams. There are different kind or exams, some are more difficult than others, but the same technique can be use to tackle all of them, and I will be sharing some of those technique today, intimately, there's just no shortcut for knowing all the materials. However, even if it's the night before your final exam and you are feeling unprepared, don't panic. There are things you can do to help you pass your exams. The techniques I will be sharing are very practical and they are applicable to any exam.
Getting ready for your exam efficiently
comes from learning how to study
smarter, not harder. Trust us. You’ll
become more aware of this fact as the
years go on and you advance in your
education.
As time passes, more and more of your
classes will only get tougher, and you’ll
end up always having to burn the
midnight oil if you haven’t developed
the proper study habits.
Here are the top 10 study tips from
researchers and scientists that will tell
you how to pass any exam
1-Know where you stand in class
It is important to know where your grades you knowing this will help you to know how much time you need you devote to studying for the exam
2-understand how you study best
Understand how you study best.
Every individual learns differently.
Knowing the conditions under which you
study best will help you most effectively
learn and retain information that you need
for your exam.
For example, if you know that you
need absolute silence to concentrate
on the material you need to learn,
you can either study in a library or in
a quiet room at home. You may also
be someone who needs a little noise
or commotion to help you focus.
”Multitasking” is a myth. While you
might think you’re able to watch TV,
text your friends, and study for exams
at the same time, your brain simply
can’t handle that many competing
streams of information. Give yourself
some quiet, dedicated study time,
and leave the other stuff for your
leisure time.
3-Understand the marking scheme
this is one thing I try to do before sitting for any exam. You should find out which
questions carry the most points
especially in cases where you have both
essay and multiple choice questions. This
will help you to set your priorities right
and effectively manage your time.
4-Believe in yourself
this point cannot be overemphasized. Always believe in yourself and your ability. Your attitude to any exam should be; “if only one candidate will pass this exam, it will surely be me”. This kind of faith will put anything you want in your hands.
5-Treat past questions
past questions are often repeated in a lot of examinations. But even when they are not, questions are usually set with the same structure every year. Treating past questions will give you a good idea of the types of questions to expect and what to do when faced with similar questions. Another
advantage of treating past questions is
they
