Nigeria’s minister for propaganda Lai Mohammed went head to head with interviewer Charles Aniagolu on Arise News' “Democracy Day Special”. The minister was questioned why President Muhammadu Buhari was not following up on his allegations of corruption against ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo. Mohammed claimed it was the president’s “prerogative” on who to prosecute. By making this stupid statement, Lia Muhammad has successfully destroyed the reputation and credibility of the EFCC. How are we supposed to believe anything the EFCC does is independent of buhari's influence?? The opposition has often claimed that Buhari has weaponized the EFCC to take down his enemies, Lia Muhammad just confirmed this! |
