Introducing the new buses (public transportation) is a fantastic development, that will greatly benefit the Lagosians and the Lagos state government.
But is there any clear maintenance strategy for these buses in place?

Things to keep in mind:
1. The life-cycle of each bus should not be less than 10
2. Replacement buses should be in place before any of the buses expires
3. A friendly infrastructure that will accommodate the buses and the passengers should be in place before starting the operation
4. Drivers and other staff should go through training before starting the operation
5. There should be a plan in place for the folks that will be out of job because of this new development (buses operation) in Lagos state.

Anything less, all these buses will turn into Molu-e in less than a year.

And something tells me that these basic things are not in place, as our government/ leaders are known to operate with no common sense
