Hon. MM Condoles the Family Of Justice Mustapha Akanbi

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the sad news of the demise of our dearest father, Honourable Justice Muhammed Mustapha Onibiyo Akanbi, the Wakilin Ilorin.

The great Titan was 86 years old.

Baba Akanbi was a lawyer, retired judge and President of the Nigerian Court of Appeal as well as the former head of Nigeria's Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, where he served for five years.

I pray almighty Allah have mercy on him, forgive his shortcomings and admit him to the highest place in Aljannah Firdaus.

May Allah grant his family, friends, our Ilorin community, Kwara State and the nation at large, the strength, grace and fortitude to bear this very sad, though inevitable loss.
