Good afternoon nairalanders, this morning my cousin tested his HIV status using Alere HIV test kit. and from the result what i saw when he left is what i show below, please what is the result, is it positive or negative. please no insult.

Unfortunately, It's positive. He myt need to do a confirmatory test.

so wen da lines are two it's positive. i thought as much though i was a bit confused cuz of da fact dat da two lines are not on da same place

Since d time have being doing HIV test I've never seen one that turns positive first time seeing one
It got to a stage I had to go and complain in the hospital if this paper stuff use to see HIV

The test kit may be expired from what am seeing, you go for a confirmation test

This is undeterminant, pls use another kit.
Also, that's too much blood for a single kit.
