Obiageli Ezekwesili popularly known as Oby Ezekwesili, a Nigerian chartered accountant who served as Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and then as Federal Minister of Education during the second-term presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. she also served as the Vice-President of the World Bank’s Africa division from May 2007 to May 2012 took to her Twitter handle to share an experience she had with one of African’s enthusiast who told her that Nigeria is failing all the African countries.

A Pan-Africanist Ethiopian academic was introduced to me earlier today in Kigali. Next thing the gentleman said was, “Ah! Nigeria is failing all of us. You people are holding back the greatness of Africa. For how long more?” He was vehement. I responded: It won’t be for long.
