The Sophia Essahmed Foundation Engages Women In Financial Literacy Programme by seventhen: 3:20am On Jun 08, 2018
The Sophia Essahmed Foundation as part of its economic empowerment programmes for women engages in financial literacy training in order to support beneficiaries to access financial services and to develop the discipline required to save from their earnings. Over 50 poor Women benefits from this programme by getting access to bank loans. Most these beneficiaries are nomadic women with little knowledge about the banking systems. Bank accounts were opened and soft loan were acquired.
