We have them in the North as well. You are right they work faster, infact efficient with more commitment than the dick yielding counterparts and i rather employed them when i supervised a project at Jos. i always instruct they are paid extra whenever am around - didn't go well with the menfolks though.
The sad thing is that some of them started to exhibit flirty behaviours towards and i had to sternly put a stop to that nonsense not because they are labourers (they are actually young and beautiful) but because i do not mix biz with pleasures and i do not exploit people's situations except ofcourse in the game of biz where i still fear God small
