Summary of Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for installing, repairing, wiring and maintaining of all electrical components found in vehicles.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities
 Undertake electrical repairs on various vehicles and plant
 Repair parts and equipment when needed
 Maintain and repair various kinds of petrol and diesel engine motor vehicles
 Liaise with agents and manufacturers on problems in order to achieve an efficient repair
 Complete all documentation and receipts, including inspection sheets, and applies signatures as appropriate

Minimum Education, Qualification & Experience;
 Grade 8 Certificate (NQF Level 1) (= 8th year of secondary school).
 Qualified Auto Electrician
 3 years’ experience in a truck maintenance or similar workshop.
 Previous experience of working in a motor mechanic/mechanical workshop as Auto Electrician (Fault finding and Analysis)
 Basic reading & writing skills English and Local Languages.
 Able-bodied to do light physical /manual work.
