Ondo State Governor, Aakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has restated his earlier decision to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign train to seek support for the party’s candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, for the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State. Arakunrin Akeredolu asks the outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, to be civil in his conduct, go to the field and campaign like a genuine politician he claims he is, instead of maligning his (Akeredolu’s) human person. The Ondo State Governor, who stated this today, June 11, 2018, during the popular Radio programme: “@MediaParley” on Adaba FM in Akure, took his time to educate Fayose that election is not won through cheap blackmail or propaganda. Speaking through his Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Yemi Olowolabi, Akeredolu said Fayemi’s intellectual capacity and administrative dexterity, which are the hallmarks of the the progressive-minded people, singled the APC governorship candidate out as the man to beat in the July 14 election. He therefore asked Fayose and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to go to the field and campaign to the electorate, but did not forget to repeatedly reiterate to the outgoing Ekiti State governor he (Akeredolu), with other progressives, would storm the Fountain of Knowledge to campaign for Fayemi.

Akeredolu who has no tangible achievement but sorrow inflicting governance coming to campaign in Ekiti State....is it to allow Fulani herdsmen kidnappers who operate freely in ita-ogbolu, kidnapped falae or overran the LGA in Akure to operate freely in Ekiti State? |
