Please what does this mean and what should I do next?

Does the immobilizer light flash even as you try starting it?

If you mean that green key icon on the dash, yes it does

Is it normal or should I say common for this to happen when the kick starter is replaced?

Let the electrician check the fuse box under dashboard bad relay or fuse or unplug the socket of transponder by the key cylinder with the aid multimeter or test light confirm if there is 12v getting to it.Also confirm if your key is still intact with chip(id46).

I have replaced the kickstarter on my honda and did not experience such but i read somewhere it happens when Battery is disconnected with the key in the ignition(ON position)
