Maybe, you should learn a little about owls and other birds of prey.
Owls, especially beautiful barn owls like this one cleans up the environment, snatching up rodents, snakes, and other small animals that who have been of more problems to the population.

If you totally clean your compound, owls will have nothing to hunt and non will be 'crying ' at night to disturb you.
