She is right. No place like home no matter your nationality. Even if you have lived in a foreign land as long as you can remember, you marry a local, have a good job, house, even accent (lol) and all there, there is still this "out-of-place" feeling in a place that is not yours.

Everybody living in a foreign land feels that way every now and then but many do not consider going home, because there is actually no home to go back to. Lol
