The pressure is more on Messi to win the World Cup than on Ronaldo to win it. There would be more disappointment in Argentina if Messi fails than in Portugal if Ronaldo fails. No one really expects much from Portugal. They are not even favorites. There are among the underdogs so Ronaldo is not under as much pressure. No one will really dwell on it if Portugal fails to win.

For those wondering why Iceland players' names end with 'Son'. Well the reason is because the Icelandic people are an ethnic group. It is just the way a lot of Yoruba people's name end with'mi' or with 'I' at the back. For instance Yemi, Funmi, Remi, Femi, Bunmi, Kemi, Simi, Temi, Subomi, Aduni, Dimeji, Akani e.t.c.

This is a lie.

Iceland follows a naming rule set by the government:

Male surnames are a combination of the father's name and son: Sigurdson (meaning son of sigurdur)

Female surnames are a combination of father's name and dottir: Ragnardottir (meaning daughter of Ragnar).

It has nothing to do with ethnic group. It is simply a simple naming rule long instituted by the government.
