It's jaw dropping what the corporate world is turning to. Employers see themselves as God and as such believe they are always right in their own way. Now the issue is how do you cope with an employer that tries to manipulate things when you both know it's wrong but you try to correct him and make him see the implications but feels your opinion and idea is useful but not welcome in their organisation. If you can't accept my recommendation, then why employ me in the first place? The truth is most sole proprietorship businesses are over concerned about making profit at the expense of it's legality and moral stand. Even as a manager, you might not be able to exercise some powers vested on you cos "the boss" wants things done in his own way and this attitude is eating up into the corporate world. Moral decadence at it's peak! There really need to be an adequate check on the part of the government, relevant professional bodies and labour organisations. 1 Like |
