Go and watch Portugal vs Sweden world cup qualifier how Ronaldo single handedly brought Portugal to Brazil world cup. Superb hatrick from Ronaldo when Portugal nearly lost the match. Ronaldo have been there and done that. So don't bring that one here.

Ronaldo has never been compared with the greatest players of all time including Pele and Maradona. Not even by his manager or team mates. That's a damning indictment IMO. He might be at the peak of his career, however, that doesn't mean he's any better unless you're his fan or suffer from mental inertia (memory loss). There's shouldn't be any underestimating what Messi has done to the round leather game albeit 2 years younger than Cristiano. I mean, he makes you love Football, P.S Cr7 fans should desist from giving us the impression they have the World Cup in the bag, heck it's just the group stage albeit the 1st game. The other man was the best player of the previous World Cup.
