Not a silly question.... I believe it is the broadcasters that choose who they want to give the play by play match commentary and not FIFA. So it is up to them to make that choice per your recommendation.

Super eagle � played very well morethan this Senegal. It's just unfortunate that we played a more tactical team than Senegal. Croatia defense was very tight likewise dia midfield. But Poland �� defense is too porous like there midfield too. Senegal ain't playing well from what I have seen so far.

The way it works is that each country runs the commentary for any match . I believe you must be watching the match on super sport, the commentator is likely to be from South Africa or any country DSTV is partnering with e.g BBC/ITV. Before CORRUPTION RUINED Nigeria to this stage, we have Nigerians running live commentary on NTA and FRCN, but since early 90's we find it hard to transmit a live match "talk-less" of running commentary even if the match is to be played at Oshodi.

It's one commentator for every language, I am watching in Australia and i definitely heard the commentator say Senegal is the first African country to score this world cup

NICE one to the senegalese. team, though they have not been realy playing impressively, but they have done better than the super eagles, the polish team have piss poor so far, the numb. who score the own goal is fidgeting , tjeir numb 20 is being bullied by that big senegalese player on the left wing, the dude is acting like a sickler, falling in every contest against the senegalese,. i just hope we see a better entertaining play from both teams in the second half. hope the senegalese team see this game off.

Poland is shitty though.
