JUSTICE FOR INTERCONTINENTAL BANK STAFF.
It is now 6years since over 400 ex staff of the defunct Intercontinental Bank PLC resigned en masse from Access Bank after being given the option to resign and collect compensation, Access bank failed to keep to their promise to the staff , the ex staff resorted to taking the matter to court in February 2013 but unfortunately the battle has been a very gruelling and expensive one as the case has been going on now for over 5 years , each year the judge in charge adjorns the case for another year. The intercontinental ex staff in Ghana have successfully gotten a ruling in their favour years back. There is still a lot of rot in our judicial system. When will justice be given to ex ibplc staff in Nigeria? When will our judicial system function as it ought to? This is a very sad tale as once again the mighty continues to oppress the masses...
